• Optimax MK3 mast: This allround racing mast is designed for mid weight sailors and can be matched with all booms and sprits. The MK3 mast for the Optimist is suitable for sailors from 75 to 100 lbs (35 to 45 kg). [more info]
• Optimax MK4 mast: The most stiff and powerfull mast, designed for experienced, heavier weight sailors. The MK4 mast for the Optimist is suitable for sailors from 100+ lbs (45 kg). [more info]
  

Booms

• Optimax MK3 40mm boom: A light and flexible allround boom which can be used with all masts and sprits. The MK3 40 mm boom for the Optimist is suitable for sailors from 75 to 100 lbs (35 to 45 kg). [more info]
• Optimax MK4 45mm boom: A stiffer 45 mm racing boom which is suitbale for the more experienced, heavier weight sailors. The MK4 45 mm boom for the Optimist is suitable for sailors above 100lbs (45 kg). [more info]

• Optimax MK3 Flex 26.6mm sprit: A light and flexible racing sprit. The MK3 Flex 26.6 mm sprit for the Optimist is suitable for sailors under 75lbs (35 kg).[more info]
• Optimax MK3 Hyperflex 28mm sprit: The most flexible racing sprit creates less distortion of the sail shape and provides an active change of tension on the leech.
