C420 Jib Cunningham

The 420 Jib Cunningham is an ingenious way to adjust the luff of your 420 jib. First snip the lashing that attaches your jib at the bottom of the luff wire. Attach the end of the jib cunningham to the pin at the front of your boat and run through the jib grommet and back down. Finally, attach the other end to your starboard side stay with the provided shackle. This system uses a Chinese Finger Trap method to allow the crew to tighten (or loosen) the jib luff.
